(More customer reviews)This is a typical "you-get-what-you-pay-for" item. Looks good from a distance but a little rough upon closer inspection. Holes were not neatly aligned so you may need a hammer to force the bolts in during assembly. The hardware is decent quality and appears as though it should wear well. Once assembled, the stand was strong and I have no concerns that it won't perform as expected for years. But if you're expecting the construction and quality to match the made-in-America versions you can buy for twice the price, you'll be disappointed.
My only mistake was assuming a universal hammock length. This stand is 13 1/2 feet long and the hammock I bought is 13 feet long, so there's about 2" of bottom clearance when I'm on the hammock. It won't be long before I have to re-tie the knots on the hammock to shorten its length.
