(More customer reviews)I have some Fire ants on my property. They are mostly under control, but once in a while there will be a small outbreak. I try to combat them right away to make sure their numbers stay small. I really don't like using dangerous chemicals, and I used to simply pour boiling water on the mounds. This worked great, but I always worried about accidentally pouring boiling water on myself.
This product has changed that. A soil drench with 4-6 ounces per gallon of this stuff will kill any fire ant in comes in contact with. I generally have to douse a mound 2-3 days in a row to get a complete and utter kill, but I feel much much safer this way, and my wife loves how the yard smells when I'm killing fire ants.
