(More customer reviews)I placed several rows of these on top of a shed to keep raccoons, opossums, and feral cats from stepping down off a fence onto the shed and using it as a bathroom. They worked great. The animals will not step down onto the shed with these in place.
Update: Unfortunately, the raccoons have figured out a way to step around or bend this thing, and it does not keep them off the shed. I am now trapping them instead. The product does not advertise that they deter raccoons, so I can't say it is a knock against them. I was just hoping it would.
