(More customer reviews)I know that Aerogrow says these can be used in the Classic Aerogarden. However, it is very difficult to fit these universal pods into the older style Aerogarden. My pods are not getting the same amount of water running over them as the older pods. It was also hard to get the sponge into the baskets without spilling the seeds. I don't know if I got the seeds in or not. I think I would be inclined to order the preseeded kits in the future.
EDIT: Okay, after a month of growing, my herbs are doing really well. The pods are staying in, and all have sprouted. Since it worked, I think I need to modify my three star rating to a four. I do like the fact that I can grow only basil and cilantro, and don't have to waste pods. I'd still prefer to be able to get the older style pods. But these did work.
