There is abig diference in theirs compared with the less expensive others sold on Amazon and hardware stores.
The difference is the cutting edge. It is made of much heavier steel.
Their service is beyond excellent. They ship on the same or next business day by Priority Mail. I usually get them in two or three days. You can't beat Tom and Becky. They are a family husband and wife business.
If you want the auger to last, buy from Custom Auger. If you want it for two or three holes, the cheap ones "MIGHT" do.

This garden auger features an added weld-on tool steel oil-hardened cutter blade. The cutter is designed extra thick for sharpening when the blade becomes dull. (See pictures for details.) Shaft is shaped with three flats to prevent slipping in your drill chuck.Best uses include deep root watering or feeding, drilling pilot holes for fertilizer or tree stakes or planting small items like seeds or small bulbs. Drill is not included. You must supply your own drill.
