(More customer reviews)There may be other bug vacuums more powerful than the "Bug Wand." I can't recommend this particular product because it doesn't perform as advertised. We tried it out on Asian beetles (the ones that look like lady bugs but bite people), spiders, a house fly, and a few gnats (no-see-ums). It worked for the gnats, but we had to knock the rest of the bugs into the tube because they clung to the wall, ceiling, or web and refused to be sucked in.
I don't think I'd go after a bee or wasp with the Bug Wand, as I wouldn't want them to lose their temper while I was trying to knock them into a 1.5 inch diameter, two-foot long tube.
The directions on the Bug Wand box end with, "So the next time you discover creepy crawlers in your home, just wave a (Bug) Wand and make them disappear!"
Yeah, right.
